About the Game

Pirate Academy is a PC wario-ware like gameplay with a controller. You play as a crew of young pirate students in search of their piracy degrees. As they are about to complete their apprenticeship, the terrible ghost ship the Flying Dutchman  appears on the horizon and steals their degrees right under their noses.
They will have to collect the 4 pirate artefacts to face the Flying Dutchman and collect their diplomas!

Sail from island to island and give your best. Each island is made up of a series of various mini-games, each more colorful and crazy than the next!
About My Work
As Artistic Director and Game Designer I had two major assignments on the project.
Initially, I participated in the making of 3 mini games. I realized their concepts and participated in the playtesting and difficulty balancing.
Then I took the role of Artistic Director. In collaboration with a Tech Artist, I established a non-exhaustive list of assets and moodboards for the macro aspect of the game.
I made all of the assets on Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Finally, as a last step, with our Sound Designer and editor, I participated in the moodboard of the trailer.
I added some assets on its request necessary to make the trailer look better.
